Tina Dico, Danish superstar
The highlight of South by Southwest for me came when I interviewed Tina Dico, an enchanting and immensely talented singer-songwriter out of Denmark who, just days earlier, won that country's equivalent of the Grammy for best new female artist.
Here's a photo set of Tina that I shot, and here's the podcast of her on Tower Records' TowerPod that went up the other day. (mp3 file | TowerPod page) Her new album is called In the Red.
This is all a bit of an experiment. Outhink is incorporating high-fidelity, full-length songs from indie artists in the middle of a podcasts. Once we attract advertising, we'll split revenues with the podcasters.
