Davis Guggenheim, director of 'Teach'
Last night I had the pleasure of meeting Davis Guggenheim, a filmmaker and a terrifically talented and personable guy. With about 200 other people, I attended a special screening of "Teach." The documentary aired on PBS shortly before 9/11. Guggenheim recently recut it down from 90 to 30 minutes and released it last night under a Creative Commons license. It's available for free download at teachnow.org or as a torrent at creativecommons.org. Guggenheim — no relation to those Guggenheims — is on the board of Creative Commons.
