Download these videos to your video iPod

Video encoded in the high-quality H.264 codec (m4v) or certain versions of MPEG-4 can be viewed on the video iPod. You need QuickTime7 to watch m4v on the Web, but the video iPod already supports it.

At Ourmedia.org, we're creating a Learning Center to make all this simpler for the public.

A lot of people mistakenly believe that you have to pay for video if you want to download and watch it on your video iPod. Not true.

Apple isn't eager to set you straight, since they're making millions selling recycled episodes of Hollywood fare.

So, let's get going. Here's a partial list of video iPod-ready videos you're free to download. Simply do this:

(1) click on the desired link below
(2) download it to your hard drive
(3) add it to your iTunes library (both Macs and PCs)
(4) sync your iPod to your computer via FireWire or USB
