Amanda Congdon on 'Rocketboom'
Amanda Congdon is the host of the 3-minute daily Internet TV show Rocketboom, one of the breakout successes of the very young IPTV industry. (They've already turned down a buyout offer from a major media conglomerate you've heard of.)
I invited Amanda to take part in a panel on grassroots media at the Symposium on Social Architecture at Harvard Law School's Berkman Center on Nov. 15, 2005. Afterward, she spoke about the success of "Rocketboom" and what it takes to build up an audience.

I enjoyed this interview a lot. I've heard Andrew speak a number of times and always find that interesting; it's nice to hear the other half of the Rocketboom duo sharing her thoughts about the show and vlogging in general.

Amanda Congdon appeared on Red Bar Radio.com, an internet talk radio show. She was asked questions that were not on the script, and didn't know how to handle it. The host, Mike D., called her a bitch. The interview ended with her hanging up on the host. A must listen-to radio event!

Well, I found Amanda both well-informed and very bright. It's easy to get flustered with an uncooperative host.
